  • Dragonfruit smoothie

    Ingredients:
    half a cup of skimmed yoghurt, half a cup of pomegranate juice, 2 fresh figs, a handful of raspberries, a handful of blackberries or strawberries, half a dragonfruit (pitahaya)

    Instructions:
    1. Put all of the ingredients in a blender, except the dragonfruit.
    2. Cut the dragonfruit in half and scoop out the pulp with a spoon.
    3. Mix thedragonfruit in the blender and pour the smoothie into a glass.

    Tip: Garnish the smoothie with a mint leaf.

  • Dragonfruit salad

    Ingredients:
    1 dragonfruit, 1 mango, 1 kiwi, 1 orange

    Instructions:
    1. Cut all of the fruit into chunks.
    2. Mix up the chunks and the salad is ready.

  • Dragonfruit boats

    Ingredients:
    1 chicken breast (meat only), in bite-sized chunks, approx. 150g of shrimp (jumbo shrimp cut into bite-sized chunks), 2 dragonfruits, 1 kiwi, peeled and cut into chunks, 2-4 strawberries, cut into chunks

    Ingredients for the sauce:
    1½ tablespoons of oyster sauce, 1½ tablespoons of sugar, 1 teaspoon of chopped mint, 5 tablespoons of lemon juice, 2 teaspoons of cornflour

    Instructions:
    1. Cut the dragonfruit in two lengthways. Save the zest.
    2. Cut up the rest of the fruit.
    3. Stir-fry the chicken and shrimp in 2 tablespoons of oil until they are cooked.
    4. Add the sauce to the mix and cook everything until the sauce thickens.

    Tip: Serve on the warm dragonfruit zest.
