Mango strips wrapped in smoked salmon

Sauerkraut with mango

  • Mango Cocktail

    2 ripe mangoes, half a litre of cold water, 3 tablespoons of sugar, the juice of 1 lemon or lime, carbonated water or tonic water, vodka or gin (optional)

    1. Cut the mangoes and mix the pulp with the water.
    2. Mix three tablespoons of sugar with the juice of the lemon or lime (in a food mixer).
    3. Pour the mixture into glasses.
    4. Add 1 part of carbonated water or tonic water and 1 part vodka or gin.
    4. Serve in long glasses with a slice of lemon.

  • Mango strips wrapped in smoked salmon

    2 mangoes, 8 slices of smoked salmon

    1. Peel the mangoes and cut them into strips.
    2. Wrap the strips with smoked salmon or raw ham.


  • Sauerkraut with mango

    1 fresh ripe mango, sauerkraut, 1 shallot, clove, 1 red chili pepper, black pepper

    1. Peel and chop the shallot into small pieces.
    2. Chop the red chili pepper into pieces (remove the seeds to make the dish less spicy).
    3. Fry the shallot and the chili pepper.
    4. Add the clove and sauerkraut.
    5. Cut the pulp of the mango into chunks and add some mango juice to the sauerkraut.
    6. Leave the mixture to simmer for 10 minutes.
    7. Add the mango chunks and heat the mixture for a further 15 minutes.
    8. Remove the clove if desired.
    9. Sprinkle with black pepper.
